I was very dissappointed with this watch for my son. The numbers are very small and the outer number hard to see on wrong contrast backround. I wanted a simple time teacher watch without a second hand and thought I had found it, but this watch does not make it clear that it has a second hand. The strap is comfortable however, and the colours are bright and fun. But not good as a first time learning watch.

I replaced it with another Timex watch (different style) but that failed (same symptoms, stopping, starting, sticking then stopping for good) - again after only 13 months. I feel that the watches may have had a common fault but Timex customer service was not very helpful. I wouldn't buy a Timex watch again.

This is great watch, it looks good and is value for money. The previous review is misleading - you need to check what the water depth resistance actually means before buying ie you need a watch with at least 100 metres water resistance for swimming. This watch is only 30 meter water resistant so is not meant for swimming - as indicated in product information. Best leaving watches in the locker anyway!

This is a lovely watch but it does not appear to be water resistent. Sadly this was the main reason for buying this watch. After my son had just one swim the light stopped working and then the watch stopped altogether. I have now returned it and am buying him a Slazenger watch which I know is waterproof as my daughter has one which has survived the swimming pool test.

I bought this watch for my daughter who has struggled with mastering telling the time. It instantly appealed to her because she's mad on monkeys and, thus, was keen to wear it and to try and refer to it. Essentially, it's just a traditional analogue watch but has a useful additional feature to help kids with learning to tell the time; there is a purple band just around the traditional clock face which, on the appropriate side, gives the 'Past' times (i.e. 5 past, 10 past etc) and on the opposite side gives the 'To' times (20 to, etc).

Both hands are labelled as 'hour' and 'minutes' which mean my daughter can't mix them up.

Otherwise, it looks cute and attractive.

I am very satisfied with my purchase!

We gave this watch to our son for his sixth birthday and we've been very happy with it. The indiglo gives a really good light to read the time by at night and the styling is fun without being childish. The elasticated fabric strap works well as he doesn't need to worry about a buckle, he just pulls it on. It has survived well for over a year although I can't claim we've tested the waterproofing and reviewers of other similar watches have claimed problems with that.



All in all we're pleased with it.
